The Owlery, Hogwarts Grounds
A tall spiral staircase leads up to a standalone stone tower. Within, there are hundreds of owls perched on rafters, and straw below the feet littered with animal bones. There are boxes along the walls with twine for letter tying, leather thongs, and music stands at which to write a hasty note. The Owlery is missing a large circle of stone cut directly out of the tower in a ring, held together by magic. The owls are able to fly in and out of the ring from any direction. Students may sit in the suspiciously scrubbed wooden chairs to visit with their owls and read mail.
