The Owlery, 4:01pm
It was Saturday, you’d taken yourself to the Owlery with your quill, ink and parchment. You were perched on the steps by the open windows, parchment beside you. You thought; and then began to write.
Dear Uncle Sirius,
I was very pleased to receive your letter last week, and I’m sorry it’s taken me so long to write a reply. I’ve had a few strange dreams the past few days, I’m not sure what they mean or how really to explain them over a letter to you. All that’s really important is that they are about mother and Bellatrix. The Malfoy’s also made an appearance. I do wish Harry and I were able to stay with you this Christmas but we understand why. There is a Christmas Ball coming up soon, I know you’ll be sorry to miss it, it’s really up your street, so I’ll find a way to send a photograph to you. I hope Buckbeak is keeping you company and you are somewhere safe and comfortable, and you have found a way to contact Remus. I also hope the owl has no trouble finding you,
Your Niece
You found the small, excited owl that would bring you Sirius’ letters, and desperately tried to attatch the letter whilst it hopped around happily. You watched as the owl flew off out of the window into the sky, and kept your eyes on it until he disappeared from view over the castle.
