You knew Dumbledore had told Harry to stay away from the Mirror of Erised, but you were too curious. Ron had mentioned the room it was in, and so that night, you had crept out of your dormitory, past sleeping classmates, carefully evading Filch and nearly running into Peeves, and found the mirror. You stare and stare, losing track of time, longing for your reflection to become a reality.
