The Marauder's Map
“I solemnly swear that I am up to no good,” says Harry, and we are drawn into another adventure of mischief and intrigue. The Marauder’s Map was designed by ‘The Marauders’ of Hogwarts: Remus Lupin, Peter Pettigrew, Sirius Black, and James Potter – otherwise known as Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot, and Prongs. The Marauders were notorious pranksters whose shenanigans were infamous amongst generations of Hogwarts students. Their map was a highly detailed and ingenious magical device which showed the location of every person and place in and around Hogwarts.
Congratulations! You hold before you the very map created by the Marauders of Hogwarts. Now what are you going to do with it? Sneak about after curfew, of course! Your wand held aloft shedding a gentle magical glow, you creep along the empty corridors being careful to avoid any ghosts or pets that might give away your location. Occasionally you need to close a door, or use a little more magic than a simple ‘Lumos!’ – but don’t be too loud! Consult the Map to be certain there aren’t any teachers along your path to catch you; you don’t want to wind up with detention. Good luck. “Mischief Managed!”
