You are a fifth year Slytherin and your O.W.L.S. are coming up. You haven’t slept in 17 hours and you have drank about a dozen cups of coffee.
Slytherin are coming and going. There is a huge storm outside and you can hear the water falling onto the Black Lake. A bit of water is dripping down a wall and some third year is practicing his flute. The fire is cackling a bit.
