Slytherin Dorm, Night
The merfolk seem more active than usual tonight, and you've spent hours staring at the swaying of the kelp outside the window at the end of the room. Eventually you slip out of bed with your blankets and settle down by the window in silence. One of the merfolk is sitting outside. She takes one look at the through the glass and spends a moment considering you, then flashes a smile with too many teeth and looks back out over the kelp forest. She starts singing softly, and ignores you companionably until you finally fall asleep.
