Sitting near of the fireplace in the evening at the slytherin common rooms, you can hear sirens singing faintly from outside the window to the left. To your right, students chatter and someone can be heard reading a book. Occasionally, someone makes a cup of tea.
I recommend lowering the volume of the people and footsteps for a more calm vibe.
