Ravenclaw Tower, Early Evening
It's autumn now, and a crisp wind whistles outside the tower windows. Thankfully, your cozy common room is still warm from the rays of the late afternoon sun. A group of close friends is chatting nearby, warm cups of mulled cider in hand. A third year is grooming an owl on a window seat as it gazes up at him adoringly. A few of your classmates are working on their astronomy charts at your table. The Grey Lady is drifting about up in the eves, humming mournfully. The last light is disappearing over the hills, sparking off the white caps in the lake and shimmering through the distant treetops. You are warm, happy, safe.
(Couldn't find any common room mixes that imagined the wind outside the tower in lieu of a crackling fire so I figured I'd make my own)
