Your spoon stirred in your teacup absentmindedly as you flipped the page for your Potions textbook. You felt pleased as you watched your quill jot down your notes in smooth, even lines. You took a sip from the teacup and sighed. The house elves made the best tea. You looked up and stretched, noting the time happily. Your friends would be there soon, tumbling in through the portrait, likely soaked to the bone and ready for more. You smiled as you put away your notes and your ink. Thunder clapped in the distance and the night tasted like adventure as the joyful sound of their laughter sounded from the opening portrait.
