Another night being the only one awake at this late hour. His best friend fell asleep while listening to his dark tales. He didn't draw the silk bed hangings and could see the lake reflecting its dim light through the windows. Though he couldn't discern them, he could hear the lake and its mystical creatures. He could also catch the dungeon escapes; he wasn't the only one still up after all. He closed his eyes and let his thoughts wander. Syncing his breathing with his roommate's, he listened to the well-known underwater tones that always sang him to sleep.
