In Gryffindor Tower
It's early evening after supper and students are collecting in the common room in Gryffindor Tower after a long day of classes. It's early spring and the fire is banishing the chill from the cozy inviting common room as the rain and thunder roll across The Black Lake and the surrounding mountains. At the quiet end of the room away from the group that has gathered elsewhere, Hermione Granger and Crookshanks cuddle deeply into one of the squashy chair in front of the fire. She is deeply in thought as she reads Hogwarts: A History. The clock ticks gently and begins to relax her busy mind and Hermione nods off to sleep while the owls in the owlery complain about the windy thundery night.
