It's quite late and you can't sleep. Slowly you pad over to the common area, book in hand. The fire is still going strong, and there are only a few other students awake. Miraculously, the overstuffed yellow and black brocade couch is available. You quietly settle in, pull up the soft hand-knitted afghan, and open your book.
