Hogwarts Express, 11:08am
You were in a carriage with Harry, Ron and Hermione, the train had barely left the station when Ron started listing things he’d forgotten. Hermione huffed in annoyance, but Harry smiled. You had only been on the train for about ten minutes, yet already you could see lush hills and trees appearing out of the window. Harry started reading out exerts from Rita Skeeter’s report on the incident at the World Cup, and you started to wish you’d sat with the twins.
‘She’s foul.’ Was all Hermione could mutter.
‘Let’s see the photo again,’ you said, and Harry turned the paper around so it faced you. Yes, there it was again. The skull and the snake and the ominous velvety smoke, and in real like you’d been able to see that it was a green-y blue colour.
‘Dad says only a really powerful wizard could cast it... Like, a death eater or something. But you saw what happened, all the death eaters Dissaperated when it appeared.’ Ron said, furrowing his brow. You thought hard.
‘All we know for sure is that it wasn’t that poor elf. I mean, really, the way Mr Crouch was treating her...’ Hermione nodded in agreement, her face sinking as she thought back to the look in Winky’s eyes.
‘What if Professor Trelawny was right?’
‘Oh, please,’ Hermione rolled her eyes,
‘No, really. I just think it has something to do with Wormtail, with my dream.’ Harry turned to you.
‘Do you reckon Sirius knows about it?’
‘Surely. It’s all over the Prophet, we’ll write to him tonight.’
