Gryffindor Common Room Party; Ron’s a Keeper!

Ron had, somehow, managed to bag himself as Keeper on the Gryffindor Quidditch team; something you and Seamus could hardly believe. You two and Neville had gone to watch Ron at the tryouts that evening, and Ron had definitely given it his all, but you were certainly surprised at Angelina’s choice. Proud, of course. The twins had Ron on their shoulders, chanting loudly about his win. Katie Bell and Alicia Spinnet looked slightly baffled, but nonetheless were happily sipping butterbeers with Angelina.
‘Very, very well done,’ you said, pulling Ron into a hug as the twins lowered him down.
‘Cheers, mate! Just waiting for Harry to come in now.’ He said into your shoulder. He was certainly in a different state now; when you’d been walking down with him to the tryouts he was positive he was going to either vomit or passout. Hermione was dozing on one of the armchairs - amazing, considering the level of noise her fellow house mates were making - Seamus was pouring out drinks for as many girls as he could, Dean was doubled over laughing at him, and Parvati and Lavender were giggling at something. Everyone was here; everyone other than Neville.
‘Where’s Neville?’ You said, trying to talk over the music. Ron said something too, you could barely make it out, but he pointed vaguely to the Dormitory stairs as he spoke. You nodded, giving him another pat well done.
