It was a typical day at Hogwarts. Nothing out of the ordinary - at least on Hogwarts terms. You're a Slytherin, and as the day slowly comes to a close, you head to your dorm to fall asleep. As you drift off, you can still hear the faint crackling of the fireplace from the common room, as well as the soft snores of your fellow classmates. You listen to the water of the lake as it surrounds the dorm - and as you drift off, you catch the mellow singing of the mermaids in the mysterious depths.
All is well.
