A Hufflepuff Morning
You pull up a comfy chair in the Hufflepuff common room and settle in—it's study time for your quickly approaching finals. A sweet-scented breeze brings through the open windows a tease of the summer to come and a strange feeling of nostalgia you can’t quite explain. You’re continually either scribbling away on your parchment or flipping through your notes and textbooks—though sometimes both at once. A quiet fire crackles in the hearth, the clock on the mantle continues its metronome beat, and you’re tempted to pass a tissue to the student on your left. If you’re honest with yourself, however, he’s not the most friendly-looking seventh year you’ve ever seen. Taking a deep breath of the calming atmosphere, you think to yourself, “Y’know, perhaps there’s a chance I might ace these tests after all.”
